Never Get Lost	Interpretation of radio navigation. A whole book online in PDF format. This was first written for a European audience, so some of the wording may seem a bit odd for US oriented pilots. But the basic information is overwhelmingly helpful.
GoogleEarth	A satellite mapping program allowing you to get decent resolution pictures anywhere on Earth. But for our purposes, you can zoom into an airport, rotate a map to a desired angle, and even change the tilt to simulate a visual picture of an approach from a desired direction.
